About Me

Hi, I'm Dan, a Software Engineer. I design, build, and ship end to end products across web, backend, and mobile. Over 8 years, I've learned to keep things simple, ship fast, and focus on real impact. I enjoy partnering with design and product, and I like owning outcomes from idea to production.

On the web, I work with React, Next.js, and TanStack Start. For backend services, I use NestJS and Spring, with PostgreSQL and Redis for data. I'm comfortable across the stack: APIs, data modeling, performance, testing, deployments, and production support. I care about clean architecture, clear naming, and reliable systems. I pick up new tools quickly and keep projects moving.

I've built in fintech, foodtech, fitness, automotive, and SaaS. I started coding at 14 and got my first job at 16 as a frontend developer. Since then, I've contributed to and led many projects, from small features to full products. I like working with real user feedback, iterating often, and improving quality week by week.

I also build my own products. One of them is Traque - an error and event tracking service with a handy mobile app that helps teams monitor issues on the go and fix problems faster. It's quick to set up, affordable, and integrates well with common stacks; it even supports extras like AWS WAF for added protection.

I'm always learning and experimenting; right now I'm focused on machine learning and math.
