I'm Dan, a software engineer. I design, build, and ship complete products across web, backend, and mobile. Over nearly a decade I've learned to keep things simple, ship fast, and focus on real impact — partnering closely with design and product, and owning outcomes from idea to production.

On the web I work with React, Next.js, and TanStack Start. For backend services I reach for NestJS and Spring, with PostgreSQL and Redis for data. I'm at home across the entire stack — APIs, data modelling, performance, testing, deployments, and production support — with a devotion to clean architecture and reliable systems.

I've built in fintech, foodtech, fitness, automotive, and SaaS. I started coding at fourteen and earned my first position at sixteen as a frontend developer. Since then I've led and contributed to projects of every scale — always iterating on real user feedback, improving quality week by week.

I'm always learning and experimenting; at present my focus is machine learning and mathematics.
